The one thing that has pretty much held the people in our community together over the years has been the IRC channel. The current IRC server is irc.chatspike.net, in channel #RPG. Most people use programs like mIRC or Konversation for their IRC needs.

If those don't work for you, we also have a Mibbit client.

Finally, we keep reasonably comprehensive chat logs and stats, which can be amusing.
